VirusTotal.com is an extremely handy website, unfortunatly I hadn't heard of it earlier. You can submit a suspicious URL or File to the website, and it will perform scans on that object using various well-reputed virus detecters. Handy if you've been downloading some files from a website you're unfamiliar with.
